Ascot Racecourse

High Street, Ascot, SL5 7JX

Founded in 1711 by Queen Anne, for the past 300 years Ascot has established itself as a national institution; with Royal Ascot being the centrepiece of the British summer social calendar and the ultimate stage for the best racehorses in the world. Having undergone a stunning £200-million redevelopment in 2004, The Grandstand provides the perfect setting to what has now become a firm favourite in our auction calendar.

The course, owned by Ascot Racecourse Ltd, enjoys close associations with the British Royal Family, being approximately six miles from Windsor Castle. Ascot today stages twenty-six days of racing over the course of the year, comprising eighteen flat meetings held between the months of May and October inclusive. It also stages important jump racing throughout the winter months. The Royal Meeting held each June, remains a major draw, its highlight being The Gold Cup. The most prestigious race is the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes run over the course in July.

Parking for viewing and auction days will be available at Ascot Racecourse (postcodeSL5 7JX on most sat navs) in Car Park 3 which opens at 8:00am and closes at 9:00pm. Dedicated parking facilities are available for disabled customers displaying a Blue Badge.
