May and July classic car auctions to be combined
Classic car auctioneer Historics is driven by the principle of people first, and as such
we are passionate advocates of the close-knit classic car community.
Consequently, in the light of the current situation, we have made the regrettable - but sensible - decision to combine our scheduled 16th May sale with our grand summer auction on Saturday 18th July.
This move will help protect the safety of the dedicated Historics team, our thousands of loyal clients, friends, media, partners and enthusiastic followers. We wish you all well during this challenging time.
We look forward to maintaining close contact with you all in the interim and to meeting again on Saturday, 18th July at our spiritual home, Brooklands Museum. This ‘supersale‘ will also celebrate our 10th anniversary since we first opened our auction doors in 2010, again at this iconic venue.
The many entries to our May sale have been consigned, with the vendor’s agreement, to this once-in-a-decade double event. At the same time, our team is as busy as ever consigning further entries to this combined sale, and looks forward to hearing from additional vendors.
“We truly value the wonderful and spirited classic car community, and are naturally disappointed to pass on our May sale. Nevertheless, we applaud the resilience and camaraderie of all like-minded enthusiasts and join you in pulling together to help overcome this difficult period. We look forward to greeting you again in person and in the meantime, extend our very best wishes.”
We will be updating with news - and more besides - as the situation progresses. Meantime it is very much business as usual preparing for the next sale.
We look forward to a full auction hall once again, following our record sale at Ascot on 7th March
