Historics fizzes at year-end finale
Statistics tell the story of a fine year-end finale to Historics at Brooklands auction year at Mercedes-Benz World on Saturday 28th November. Gross revenue surged strongly from the previous sale in August to a shade under £2.5 million and, with bustling preview days and record sale attendance, also eclipsed Historics robust results at the same venue a year ago.

There are some great cars in there, as you may well expect. A couple of my favorites include the Iso Rivolta Lele, a stunning and brand-new 1988 Porsche Carrera Sport Targa (0 miles) and the Volvo P1800E, such inspired lines!
32 Years of Mini Cooper S
Historics Classic Car Auction at Brooklands on 29th August will feature Mini Cooper S models from 1966 and 1998, and a 1987 Mini Mayfair for resto offered at no reserve.

Over 78% sold out of 150 lots, a record for us, over £2.83m turnover, the highest visitor attendance and all catalogues sold out by midday. There were good results in there too; the Ferrari 550 sold for £179,000, the Bentley S1 Continental sold for £98,560 as well as many, many more.
