December Newsletter 2013

Greetings! I think we can all agree that we were royally looked after at Mercedes-Benz World at the weekend. It is a great end-of-year location and we had results to match from the biggest catalogue in our company's history.

Just under £2m worth of cars sold with 67% finding new homes and another handful currently in negotiation.
Notable high flyers included the Porsche 911S, the BMW 327/328, the 1911 Vulcan and 'Lofty' England's Jaguar E-Type - all selling for between 30% to 40% above estimate.
The Pask Collection of Amilcars and Sénéchals flew as we thought they might and, annoyingly, I was out-bid for the Concorde windscreen, much to my wife's relief!
The next auction finds us back at the Brooklands Museum on the 8th March; it will come round sooner than you think so do call the office if you would like to discuss a consignment.
Finally, from all of us here, it just remains
for me to wish you all a very
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
Drive carefully,
Edward Bridger-Stille
