Founded in 1711 by Queen Anne, for the past 300 years Ascot has established itself as a national institution; with Royal Ascot being the centrepiece of the British summer social calendar and the ultimate stage for the best racehorses in the world. So say Historic England, but the flying history of Bicester predates its development as a bomber base: a Bristol Boxkite flew from the town as early as 1911. The first military occupiers of the airfield were the Royal Flying Corps in 1916, which became part of the newly formed Royal Air Force on 1st April 1918 when RAF Bicester, as it now was, became a Training Depot. In the three years from 1925, the airfield was transformed into a state-of-the-art Bomber Station.

Mercedes-Benz World is a facility open to the public at the historic Brooklands motor racing circuit in Weybridge, Surrey, UK. It is owned and operated by the German car manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz and opened on 29 October 2006. Since then over 3 million people have visited.

Olympia was opened in 1886 with the addition of the National Hall an annexe in 1923. It is steeped in motoring history having hosted blue-riband automotive shows for more than a century. The Grand Hall was home to the International Motor Exhibition from 1905 to 1936 and has hosted several car-themed events ever since.
