The 1984 Capri 2.0S was a classic sports coupé that epitomized the essence of the era's automotive style. This iconic Ford model boasted a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine, delivering a peppy 101 horsepower and an exhilarating driving experience. With its sleek, aerodynamic design and distinctive hatchback, the Capri 2.0S exuded an unmistakable '80s charm.

Inside, it featured a driver-focused cockpit, comfortable seating, and a range of modern amenities for the time. Whether cruising along scenic routes or taking on tight corners, the Capri 2.0S provided a blend of performance and style that continues to evoke nostalgia and admiration among enthusiasts and collectors today.

This 2.0S version of the ever-popular Capri is sadly available at auction because its enthusiast owner passed away in 2021. We are informed that most weekends were spent tinkering with his beloved Ford in preparation for a journey to Le Mans. Some of this work is visible under the bonnet and includes the fitting of a new radiator and Kenlowe fan. During the late owners tenure, the car had the benefit of always being garaged and recently fired up after an hours sympathetic treatment. Presented to auction with a V5c and a fresh MoT test certificate and offered without reserve, this classic from the 80’s offers the ideal opportunity to unleash your inner Bodie or Doyle.
