The Aston Martin Volante LWB is a classic convertible that is known for its elegant design and luxurious features. The LWB (Long Wheelbase) model was introduced in 1996 and was designed to provide more legroom for rear passengers. It was based on the DB7 platform and was produced until 2003. The exterior of the Volante LWB is timeless and sophisticated, with sleek lines and a distinctive Aston Martin grille. It is available in a variety of colours, but the most popular is Green, being the traditional colour of Aston Martin cars. The interior is equally impressive, with sumptuous leather seats and a dashboard, which is both stylish and functional. The car is equipped with all the modern amenities, including air conditioning, power windows, and a high-end sound system. Under the bonnet, the Volante LWB is powered by a 5.9 litre V12 engine that produces 420bhp and 400 lb-ft of torque. It is mated to a four-speed automatic gearbox and can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 5.9 seconds. Overall, the Aston Martin Volante LWB is a true classic that combines performance, luxury, and style. It is a car that will always turn heads and is a must have for any serious car collector.
The fabulous example of a very rare Aston Martin was supplied new by JCT 600 in Leeds. The colour combination of Galloway Green with Magnolia leather interior, contrasting dark green piping and top roll is superb. The luxurious interior is trimmed with Wilton carpets and copious amounts of wood. Maintenance is very important on these cars, this example has been maintained by Grange Aston, Aston Works and Lancaster Sevenoaks. More recently the car has visited Oselli Engineering for a service and some very light recommissioning, the invoice totalled £10,660.77. These long wheelbase model V8’s are superb to drive and the additional seven inches legroom put this car firmly into the Grand Tourer category. Having covered only 16,877 miles from new and being one of only 37 right hand drive examples and one of only 64 long wheelbase examples produced worldwide, this Aston Martin is part of a very exclusive club. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a history folder worthy of such a splendid example this Aston Martin V8 Volante LWB is a stunning car that combines performance, luxury, and elegance in one exceptional package. It is a car that is sure to impress anyone lucky enough to ride in it and remains a highly sought-after collectible car today.
