The Lamborghini Huracán, Spanish for ‘hurricane’ (a famous fighting Bull) replaced the previous V10 offering, the Gallardo. The LP 610-4 designation comes from the car having 610 metric horsepower and four-wheel drive, while LP stands for ‘Longitudinale Posteriore’, which refers to the longitudinal mid-rear engine position. Revealed online in December 2013, making its worldwide debut at the 2014 Geneva Auto Show it was released in the market in the second quarter of 2014. The Huracán maintains the 5.2 litre naturally aspirated Audi/Lamborghini V10 engine with an additional 0.2 litres compared to the Gallardo, tuned to generate a maximum power output of 602bhp. To ensure its balance and performance, the car is mid-engine and has both direct fuel injection and multi-point fuel injection. It combines the benefits of both of these systems, the first time this combination is used in a V10. The firing order of the engine is 1, 6, 5, 10, 2, 7, 3, 8, 4, 9 printed on a metal plate on the top of the engine, as with all other Lamborghini models. Features of the Huracán include the Lamborghini Doppia Frizione (LDF) seven-speed dual-clutch transmission with three modes (Strada - street, Sport and Corsa - Track), 20” wheels, carbon-ceramic braking system, optional Lamborghini Dynamic Steering variable steering system and MagneRide electromagnetic damper control.

First registered on 8th April 2015, this stunning 600bhp V10 Huracán was £180,720 when new and presented in Nero Ade with Nero Ade trim and optional transparent engine Bay with forged composite. The wheels are Giano 20" in Black with yellow painted calipers. Owned by our vendor since January 2020 and garaged when not in use, this example boasts a recent service with specialists Scuderia in London.

With five owners since new, a full history, a Larini exhaust system and full PPF, this is an incredible jolt to the senses. This car was driven for the Historics ‘Driving in Cars’ series found on the Historics Auctions YouTube channel and Historics YouTube supremo Tom Exton can testify to the incredible performance level and frankly spine-tingling noise available. One of the best naturally aspirated engines ever produced coupled to a car that stops traffic and turns heads wherever you choose to drive.
