The Bentley Arnage was launched in 1998, a large luxury saloon car that replaced the previous Bentley Turbo saloon. Built by Bentley Motors in Crewe, England from 1998 to 2009, the Arnage and its Rolls-Royce sibling named the Silver Seraph, were introduced in the Spring of 1998 and were the first entirely new designs for the two marques since 1980 when the Silver Spirit and Mulsanne models were introduced. In 2002, Bentley updated the Red Label as the series two Arnage R. This model was launched to contrast the Arnage T, which was developed to be a sportier variant. The Arnage R features two Garrett T3 turbochargers fitted to the engine as with the RL. Bentley quote the Arnage R as being an unrivalled example of the Grand Touring philosophy, making every journey a unique experience of power, luxury and control. A place where two very different worlds are perfectly united. Tradition and technology in absolute harmony.

Finished in deep blue with a full luxurious cream leather interior, this facelift Bentley Arnage R was first registered on 23rd August 2004 and has been owned by our vendor, a private gentleman, since 2017. The car recently competed a 1,000 mile UK trip without fault and we are informed it drives beautifully. Recent expenditure of more than £10,000 over the past 24 months with Stewart Walker Bentley & Rolls Royce after previous maintenance with Jack Barclay in Mayfair shows a no expense spared philosophy to maintenance. Comprehensively serviced by main dealer and specialists, the car had new OEM tyres fitted just last year and we are told has cold air conditioning, picnic tables and two Bentley umbrellas, indeed a lovely car, one of the last made by hand in crew Crewe. This is a wonderful luxury saloon car that to this day oozes understated class while still offering effortless power, the only question is drive or be driven?
