The Jaguar saloon launched in 1997 was codenamed X308 by the manufacturer and badged as an XJ8 for the market place. Both names make reference to the new model line-ups V8 power unit. Available as either a 3200cc or 4000cc version. The exterior styling was similar to the previous model with some minor refinements. The interior received a pleasing makeover with a much softer, more modern, look to the dashboard.

This very well presented example was originally assigned to dealer TWR of Northampton and was subsequently registered new on 8th June 1999. A one family owned example this XJ8 was purchased new by the current vendors late father and has covered a modest 63,322 miles from new. Resplendent in Carnival Red coachwork over a cream leather interior, both of which present very well indeed with very few blemishes and aging. The Jaguar is reported to run and drive as it should having been maintained to a high standard throughout its life and having been serviced by Jaguar main agents and Jaguar specialists. Included in the sale are bills and receipts for service work, original documentation, sundry invoices, the relevant Jaguar booklets including a stamped service book, previous MoT records, two keys, the current UK registration document, and a new MoT test certificate valid until 22nd August 2024. Ready to be used immediately this low mileage low owner example is offered at no reserve and should be keenly contested at auction.
