  • Extensive recent works at Mercedes-Benz World
  • Recent MoT test certificate
  • Completely bespoke stretched limousine

This stretched limousine represents an icon of 1980s luxury, extended with the ability to carry up to eight people in comfort. This W126 model with a 4.2 litre, petrol-powered powerplant is combined with a four-speed transmission. It has been imported by the vendor in 2020 with all taxes paid and registered in the UK. Its windows have a dark tint; as you’d expect from a limousine and it wears all of the typical 1980s limo’ accoutrements; chrome fender flares, chrome trim around the B- and C-pillars, deep-dish chrome wheels and extended side skirts all around. Inside, things get even more dramatic. The interior is camel-coloured with a custom adjustable Recaro seat in place of the factory driver’s seat. The dashboard, centre stack and door panels feature Walnut wood trim are as you’d expect from a vintage Mercedes-Benz. The rear quarters are even more of a time capsule. There’s space for up to six people to travel in style with leather seats, high-pile carpeting and more of that Walnut wood trim. It even features two corded telephones a cathode-ray-tube television with a VCR, a Champagne chiller and more.

In recent months, over £12,000 has been spent at main-agents, Mercedes-Benz World at Brooklands – ‘Maybach, SLT & Specialist Products’. All invoices are present confirming an abundance of work carried out and new parts fitted through the months of August 2022 to August 2023. Other refinements include air-conditioning with auxiliary heating and climate control, a power sunroof, anti-lock brakes and the electronic stability programme (ESP) that Mercedes-Benz are famous for.

Additional works at Mercedes-Benz World include, track rods, four new tyres, new batteries, front wheel bearings, partial exhaust system, brake system stripped and checked and the hydraulic system overhauled. Also new wiper blades, fog lights, brake master cylinder supplied and fitted and a new driver's electric window motor, supplied/installed just weeks before the sale as well as brand-new under-bonnet soundproofing. This bespoke limousine, although not perfect, benefits from an independent vehicle inspection, a V5C registration document, and MoT test certificate valid until February next year. You can be sure that there won’t be another limousine on the roads like this one!
