  • Original low mileage example

A historic model in the continuing history of the Rolls-Royce marque, the Phantom was the first all-new design to be introduced by the company following its takeover by BMW. Produced at a new factory near Goodwood in Sussex, the Phantom revived a great name from Rolls-Royce's past that had always been synonymous with unrestrained luxury. In keeping with the tradition established by previous Phantoms, the newcomer was a very large motor car, outstretching the old Silver Seraph by 18" while boasting a radiator shell 4" taller. Priced at around £260,000 at time of launch, it was also 40% more expensive. While the body structure represented the ultimate in automotive technology, its accoutrements remained entirely traditional in choice of materials, consisting of the finest hide trim, genuine woollen carpets and carefully selected wood veneers.

Originally registered on 10th March 2009, this stunning Rolls-Royce is a low owner example and presents in stunning original condition. The very modest mileage of 8,323 is backed up by a service history which has always been within the Rolls-Royce dealer network in London until most recently when it was serviced by P&A Wood. Originally registered to a foreign national bank the car was subsequently (within a month) transferred to the chairman of that bank and our vendor bought LJ09 CZD from Rolls Royce London in 2017, whilst the third owner, the second driver. The specification of these magnificent machines is superb with all the usual refinements expected of such a prestigious marque, however the umbrellas fitted into the ‘A’ post is a very nice touch as is the starlight roof lining, extended burr walnut, upgraded Hi-Fi and trickle charging system with charger.

Finished in pearlescent black with beige hide and black over rugs, the colour combination is broken up nicely with a polished aluminium bonnet which has been PPF protected. Supplied with a V5C registration document together with the original service books, this vehicle could be summed up in one word, magnificent. If you are looking for a Phantom Coupé for your collection this is most certainly the one for you.
