Lot 142 - 2006 Porsche 987 Boxster S
|Odometer reading||24,666 miles|
|Estimate||£18,000 - £26,000|
The 987 was the second generation Boxster model, the most obvious styling change was to the headlights, which had a profile similar to those of the Carrera GT. This fabulous low mileage Boxster 987 3.4 litre Boxster S is presented in GT Silver metallic with full black leather interior and fitted with a brand new set of turbo alloys (costing £6,000) and shod with beautiful red calipers and an excellent set of Michelin tyres. A four-owner example - father to son, and father to son, each of them clearly having looked after the car, but the current keeper is possibly the most fastidious of all. We are told he has valeted the car more than he drove it, even to the extent of removing the wheels periodically and cleaning the calipers.
The specification includes over £15,000 of options - PCM Satellite Navigation is now upgraded to a Pioneer unit but the original is with the car, sports design bodywork package, auto dim interior and exterior mirrors, park assist, Bi-Xenon lights, chrome-plated stainless exhaust pipes, sports seats with embossed Porsche Crests, telephone module, CDC-4 six disc CD Autochanger, BOSE surround system, three spoke steering wheel, wind deflector, fully automatic climate control, top tint windscreen, rear section and centre console in GT Silver, and seat belts in silver grey. Having covered just 24,666 miles and possessing a wonderful service history, a mixture of OPC and renowned specialists. Most recently serviced at Porsche Centre Bristol at 24,489. Supplied with what appears to be every service invoice plus sundry bills, all MoT test certificates, a full handbook pack with stamped service book, the original vehicle order form, a host of original brochures and Porsche Passport documents, and two original keys. It just flew through an MoT, naturally with no advisories. The car will grace any collection and will not disappoint.
