The Bentley Azure was launched in 1995 and was based on the platform of the Continental R which had been launched in 1991. The Azure intended to both convey a sense of presence and allow for comfortable seating of four adult passengers. Power came from the company's stalwart 6.75 litre, V8 featuring a single intercooled turbocharger producing in the region of 380bhp. The gearbox was a General Motors sourced four-speed automatic unit with the Azure capable of 0-60mph in an impressive 6.1 seconds. Owing to the limited space at Bentley's Crewe factory, the Azure was designed and manufactured by Pininfarina, significantly adding to the vehicle's production cost.

This beautifully presented example is offered in metallic silver coachwork with full black leather interior and is complemented by an abundance of wood as you would expect from one of the world's premium marques. The paintwork is very good with no noticeable blemishes of any kind. The wheels are also in excellent condition with no kerb marks and benefit from a new set of blue centre caps to match the Azure badges. The interior is in very presentable order as well as the hood which is in excellent condition and works as it should, as does the self-levelling hydraulic suspension which benefits from newly fitted rear gas springs. The Bentley starts when asked and ticks over almost silently and is a wonderful and elegant drive. Offered with a history file containing various sundry invoices, service history, old MoT test certificates and the current UK registration document.

Offering enormous style and luxury, whether you are going to the shops or travelling to the South of France, this Bentley is one of the most elegant vehicles available today.
