The Rover 75 was manufactured by Rover Group and later by MG Rover. The Rover 75 was available with front wheel drive in either a saloon or estate body style and latterly, in long wheelbase form and a rear wheel drive, V8 engined specification. Rover 75’s were built at Cowley, Oxfordshire, for just a year when the owners at the time, BMW, divested its interests in Rover and the 75 was built by the new MG Rover Group at their Longbridge site in Birmingham. Production of the Rover and later MG badged models ceased on 8th April 2005 when manufacturer MG Rover Group entered administration.
This 2.5 litre V6 Rover 75 Connoisseur SE is presented in gleaming red coachwork with contrasting black trim and is described by our vendor as being in fabulous condition inside and out and an absolute joy to own. The car has had just three former keepers and has been with the current owner since 2006. It boasts a full service history, the last in September 2020, and having only covered circa 4,500 miles a year has been very well maintained and used regularly. A very well specified top of the range Connoisseur SE example supplied with the original handbooks together with a UK V5C registration document and a tow bar, this is a car that can be great fun to use or to keep as a potential future classic.
