The special edition ‘95’ cars were built to commemorate Bentleys 95th Birthday and just 15 examples left the factory in Crewe. The cars were fitted with a unique black ‘Flying B’ mascot and 21” alloy wheels. Powered by the reliable 6.75 litre V8 petrol engine, the luxury saloon produced a punchy 505bhp and could reach 60mph in just 5.3 seconds. Given the number of additional options on this car, its list price when new is believed to be north of £300,000! The typical Mulsanne features remain in the cabin area, a central infotainment screen, swathes of wood veneer and diamond-quilted leather are all fitted as standard. Luxurious touches and factory options make this is a wonderful car both to drive and be driven in, with heated seats and individual climate control for all four occupants, fold-out media screens and trays in the front seat backrests, rear seat entertainment, dvd player, wireless internet access point, and even a fridge and drinks cabinet between the rear seats.
Commissioned to mark 95 years of Bentley the 95 edition comes with numerous upgraded features. This excellent example was registered new in December 2014 and has just one previous owner on the logbook. Presented in Britannia Blue paintwork, this Bentley is in very good condition for its age and shows very few blemishes at all. The 21” split-rim wheels are pristine and the chromework is immaculate, as you would expect with such a car. The cabin is also in immaculate order and is finished in Parchment and blue hide with contrasting red stitching, and the ‘95’ embroidered logos. The wood inlays on all the 95 models are made of near 400-year-old walnut taken from the famous Fulbeck Walnut tree that fell during the great storm in 2007. Serviced by Bentley throughout its life, this Mulsanne has undergone a five year service in November 2019 and has more recently been treated to an annual service by its local Bentley main dealer. The history file that accompanies this car includes the original Bentley handbook and wallet, while the car’s service history is available online.
