Internally known as the 981, the third-generation Boxster was announced on 13th March 2012 at the Geneva Motor Show. The 981 Boxster reflected the new design language from the 911 (991) and 918 and featured new and revised engine and transmission specifications. Together with a new body, the type 981 Boxster featured a new, 40 per cent more torsionally rigid chassis with a small weight reduction of up to 35 kg compared to the previous type 987 Boxster. The standard Boxster was fitted with a new 2.7-litre flat-six engine equipped with a six-speed manual gearbox and an optional seven-speed reworked PDK. Porsche also claimed that the new generation Boxster provided fuel savings of 15% over the outgoing model.

This stunning, low mileage 2014 Boxster is presented in black with black leather trim and cost £42,463 from new which included over £4000 of optional extras including the partial leather seats, uprated sound package, cruise control and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) including navigation. With just one former owner, the car is presented unsurprisingly in almost as new condition and benefits from Porsche main dealer service history. Offered with an MoT test certificate until June 2021 with full leather-bound book pack and with such low mileage this is a fabulous example of the Boxster.
