The new Ford Focus RS500 made its global debut at the 2010 German Motor Show in Leipzig. Launched to provide the definitive driving experience for serious performance car enthusiasts. This new Ford features a muscular 2.5 litre turbocharged engine which generates 15% more power than a standard Focus RS. The RS500s impressive power is matched by an equally dramatic appearance, sporting a matt black paint finish with matching alloy wheels to deliver a powerful visual impact which is unlike any other production Ford. The models name highlights the strictly limited production run of 500 individually numbered vehicles.
Registered in September 2010 this Ford Focus RS500 is number 135 of the limited production run of 500 cars. When the car was launched a spokesman for Ford stated that the manufacturer was “determined to mark the end of production for the current and acclaimed Focus RS with something even more special”, we tend to think that the new RS500 hits that brief perfectly.
