Introduced in 2001, the hatchback Mini was the first model of the new generation Mini and back then was simply known as Mini. It was available in Cooper, Cooper S and One variations. In many European markets, the Mini One was powered by a 1.4 litre version but all other petrol powered Minis used the 1.6 litre version. The names Cooper and Cooper S, used for the sportier version of the classic Mini, came from the involvement of John Cooper and the Cooper Car Company.

This 2005 ‘55’ plate Mini Cooper with a staggeringly low 4,800 genuine miles on the clock looks stunning in black with black trim and, despite being 15 years old, we are informed it presents as a new car. This Mini comes supplied with all previous MoT history, having successfully passed each one annually and the latest one is valid until December 2020. Supplied new by Listers BMW in Kings Lynn, the car was retained by the first owner until January 2019, and the impressive service history handbook shows five main dealer supporting service stamps from 997 miles in 2008 to 3,059 miles in 2016. Our vendor informs us that the alloy wheels have no marks at all, the tyres appear barely worn in and the interior is immaculate; the seats and steering wheel are commensurate with such a low mileage example.

This exemplary Mini Cooper is accompanied by handbooks, wallet and spare keys, and is a fantastic opportunity to buy an ‘as new’ 15 year old car which our vendor describes as faultless. Viewing is recommended.
