Production for the Ferrari 550 Maranello ran from 1996 to 2002 during which time 3083 of this high end model were produced. The car’s impressive power is supplied by a front mounted 5474cc engine which the manufacturer claims accelerates this Ferrari model from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds and on to a reported top speed of 199 mph. This level of performance isn’t unusual for Ferrari but the fact that this model has a boot that can accommodate a set of golf clubs is. The combination of a luxurious and spacious interior combined with outstanding performance is a winning combination.
This impressive 550 Maranello presents extremely well in Nero black paintwork with a Nero black leather interior and features the desirable manual transmission. Accompanied by a substantial service file, the records show 13 service receipts and the recent fitting of new tyres, actuators, a new clutch and flywheel. The history file also includes a V5C registration document, a valid MoT test certificate, various bills and receipts and documents verifying that this car was imported in 2019. We are told that this Ferrari performs extremely well and it is easy to see why Evo magazine wrote about the 550 “Yes, the engine is mighty, but the chassis is its equal. There's never been a supercar that's so exploitable and so rounded in its capabilities.” The value of Ferrari 550’s is currently strong and this example is very competitively estimated.
The health and safety of both our customers and team remains the utmost priority, we are therefore operating to Government guidelines throughout viewing and auction day.
