Lot 228 - 2000 Subaru Impreza Turbo P1
|Odometer reading||97,704 miles|
|Result||Sold - £12,452|
Developed as a joint venture between the Japanese factory, Oxfordshire based Prodrive - the people who helped Subaru to international rally success with David Richards - and Subaru UK, the P1 (Prodrive One) was offered only as a two-door saloon. Fitted with a revised version of the rally engine with re-calibrated electronics and developing no less than 280bhp, 69bhp more than the standard Impreza Turbo. Combine that with a big-bore exhaust, quick-shift gear linkage, 17” titanium-finish alloy wheels and a rally proven suspension set-up and you have got the fundamentals of something a bit special!
This very nice example of this highly desirable and rare model, it is presented in the typically nostalgic Sonic Blue with Prodrive sport seats in black and blue. The car comes with a 2007 Dyno report, RAC Trackstar subscription agreement, MoT test certificate history dating from 2005 to 2018 and a few bills and receipts dated between 2005 and 2013. These are still quick sports cars and revered within classic car enthusiasts across the country. Offered to auction without reserve, this is surely a great opportunity to acquire one of the most iconic Subaru cars ever made.
