The Chevrolet Corvette is instantly recognisable by the marque aficionado and non-aficionado alike. The first model, a convertible, was designed by Harley Earl and introduced at the GM Motorama in 1953 as a concept show car. Originally built in Flint, Michigan and St. Louis, Missouri, the Corvette, today, is manufactured in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The third generation Corvette, the C3, was designed along the lines of the Mako Shark II concept car and was introduced for the 1968 model year continuing in production until 1982. Engines and chassis components were mostly carried over from the C2 but the body and interior were all new.

This Stingray C3 was registered in the UK on 1st August 2018 and is the desirable ‘targa-top’. Fitted with a 454cu (7.4 litre) engine which is mated to a manual gearbox, this Corvette certainly has appeal to those that want to drive fast and loud! The Sunburst Orange paintwork is in very good order as is the black interior. Supplied with a V5C registration document, this is certainly one of the best Corvette Stingrays we have seen for a while.
