The S Class range was introduced in 1972 and has remained in production under a number of updates and model changes until the present day. This luxury model bears the name which, in German, means ‘special class’. As the flagship of the Mercedes-Benz line-up, the S class has been the test bed vehicle for many of the company’s latest innovations including seatbelt pre-tensioners, ABS braking, traction control and an electronic stability program.
This imposing long wheelbase S Class was manufactured in 1995 and was first registered in the United Kingdom in June 2003. This W140 version of the world-famous saloon presents well in the classic limousine colour combination of black with black interior and benefits from an electric sunroof.
