This extremely rare, limited edition, Aston Martin was made to celebrate the end of the production of the last hand built car to be produced at Newport Pagnall. The Vanquish, in July 2007, alongside the closing of the Newport Pagnell factory after 49 years of operations. Aston Martin took the decision to produce the ultimate Vanquish S, fittingly called the Ultimate Edition. Production was in limited numbers with just 50 produced of which only 20 were in righthand drive.
This staggering example is build number 10 of the 50 made, it was delivered on 26th July 2007 to a Mr. D Hickman who purchased from Jacksons Aston Martin, Jersey. Finished in a specially created paint, Ultimate Black, the cars were presented with 2+2 seating, Obsidian Black leather with silver stitching, chrome black interior accents and individually numbered sill plaques.
Complete with a Newport Pagnell V12 Vanquish build log, an Aston Martin Heritage Trust vehicle Heritage Certificate, full book pack, all keys and fobs, boot mounted umbrella and sourced from a small private collection with only 4,711 miles on the clock, we believe this is the lowest mileage Vanquish S Ultimate on the market today.
