John Cooper was well known for his involvement, along with his father Charles, in developing the post-war, rear engine, single seater 500cc race cars that ran amok and beat the larger front engine cars of the period. John was also later renowned for his development of the iconic Mini with the Mini Coopers cleaning up in high profile race and rally events in the 1960s and beyond.
This stunning fully restored Rover Mini Cooper is offered from private ownership with just over 52,000 miles from new. The car is presented in Storm Grey with contrasting black and red trim with optional sunroof. This example is described by our vendor as 'driving like new'. The accompanying history file is equally as impressive showing no breaks in the lifespan of this little Cooper and includes every MoT test certificate from new and the original sale receipt along with the original book packs. Having been garaged since its full restoration, this example offers an MoT test certificate valid until April 2020. This is truly a stunning example suitable to use as a daily driver or investment.
