Jaguar cars today are designed in Jaguar Land Rover's engineering centres at the Whitley plant in Coventry and Gaydon in Warwickshire, whilst manufacturing takes place in Jaguar's Castle Bromwich assembly plant in Birmingham. The Jaguar XK series was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show on 5th March 1996; the first generation of the series being the XK8 which replaced the XJS and was available as a coupé and convertible. It was the first eight-cylinder vehicle produced since the Daimler 250. The XK8 came with 17 inch alloy wheels, leather interior, burr walnut trim and side airbags as standard.
This handsome Jaguar was originally registered on 2nd March 2005 and has had three former keepers. Finished in one of the best colour combinations of Jaguar Racing Green Metallic with Ivory sport interior, this well appointed XK8 is equipped with air conditioning, heated seats, CD player and satellite navigation. Supplied with a V5C registration document and the original service books showing 12 services from main dealers and two specialist stamps together with a collection of invoices, it is offered for sale without reserve.
