During the winter of 1967/1968, Mercedes-Benz launched its new generation of vehicles. This new model was known as the Stroke Eight. With its improved performance the new 280S could achieve 0-60mph in 12.5 seconds and push on to 115mph. A better arrangement of cylinders and filters improved both cooling and economy. The outstanding qualities of this new vehicle shaped a whole generation of cars. Today it is an established classic.

The particular model on offer today is presented in the rare specification of metallic Sky Blue exterior with luxurious blue leather interior. This 2.8 litre 280S comes in righthand drive with the desirable four speed column shift manual transmission, and a mere 103,000 miles on the odometer. Being a historic vehicle, this 280S is both MoT test certificate and tax exempt, this is a rare opportunity to own a desirable and appreciating German classic.
