The 348 was launched in 1989 as a replacement for the 328. With new styling that featured rectangular taillights and revised side air intakes, this two-seater, rear wheel driven, mid-engined V8 continued in production until 1995. Both a removable rear subframe which speeded up the removal of the engine for maintenance and adjustable ride height suspension made the 348 far more user friendly and kept maintenance costs lower than previous prancing horses.
This stunning 348TB is presented in the rare factory combination of Bianco White coachwork with contrasting navy leather trim, the combination which is very 90's and looks absolutely fabulous. Our vendor had found this example in Switzerland after a exhaustive search in 2014 to find the perfect 348 for his collection and this is a car that has not disappointed. Originally delivered to Switzerland where it had just two owners since 1992, this example is supplied with the original service booklet, manuals and wallet and boasts a complete toolkit plus three keys and the two original ID tags. When our vendor visited the car he recalls how it was in a heated underground private garage and struggled to keep his composure as a buyer, he just desperately wanted to say 'i'll have it at any cost'! After a short bidding war with another prospective buyer he bought this car to the UK and has treated it equally as well, he toured the car in the Alps in 2016 but since has struggled to find the time and correct dry weather in which to enjoy his pride and joy. A stunning example of the fast appreciating 348 in a rare and desirable colour combination.
