The XJ range has been the Jaguar flagship car since 1970. The version launched in 1997 was codenamed X308 and built on nearly 30 years of Jaguar heritage. The model was badged XJ8 to reflect the new line up of V8 engines that powered the range. The exterior styling was similar to the model it replaced but the interiors saw a significant improvement in refinement over its predecessor, carrying on the tradition of sumptuous leather with walnut defining the very ethos Jaguar set out to achieve from that start, trying to compete against their European rivals.

This very nice example is presented in the classic combination of Sapphire Blue with cream leather interior. The car is specified with air conditioning, electric windows and the trim which is typically enhancing in walnut. This comfortable luxury saloon is powered by the smooth straight six 3.2 litre engine and the car is also supplied with its Jaguar driver's pack, old MoT test certificates and the present MoT test certificate which expires in October of this year.
