The world famous Land Rover Defender can trace its roots back to the original Land Rover series that was launched at the Amsterdam Motor Show in April 1948. This range of four wheel drive off-road vehicles enjoyed a build run of 67 years. Production finally ended on 29th January 2016 when the last Land Rover Defender rolled off the production line. During this impressive build run the specifications of both trim and engines changed but outwardly there was little to distinguish an early vehicle to the final car.
This Defender Double Cab Pick-up is distinctive in both its colour combination and huge specification. The car is unmissable in the striking colour combination of orange and black and sits on large black wheels. The huge list of upgrades to this Defender include top lamps, bull bars, heavy duty winch, flared wheel arches, driving lamps, black chequer plate, bonnet protection and a snorkel air intake. This distinctive looking Land Rover is described by the vendor as tremendous fun and a real head turner. Interested parties should note that this car was subject to an insurance category D loss in August 2017. Offered to auction with a V5C registration document. The vendor tells us that the car has been well repaired. This Defender is sure to get any new owner noticed.
