These fabulous grand tourers were produced from 1975 through to 1996 and replaced the iconic E-Type. Although it never had quite the same sporting image, the XJS was actually more aerodynamic with the last one being produced in April 1996. Its power came from their V12 engine with a choice of a manual or automatic transmission although the manual gearbox was soon dropped. V12 engine cars were unusual at the time with notable exceptions coming from Italian luxury sports car makers Lamborghini and Ferrari.

Imported from Japan, this lovely example is presented in metallic Dorchester Grey with Magnolia leather interior and black piping. Powered by the smooth and powerful 5.3 litre V12, these luxury sports tourers were well equipped, coming with electric windows, air conditioning, heated electric seats and a power hood. The present owner had the car re-sprayed about one and half years ago and it looks fantastic today. It also comes with a MoT test certificate which expires in January 2020 and was last serviced by The Jag Workshop, Ealing in February this year.
