|Odometer reading||89,315 miles|
|Result||Sold - £25,760|
Built between 1971 and 1989, the Mercedes-Benz R107 SL is a well and truly established member of the classic car club. These distinctive convertibles have classic styling and timeless Mercedes-Benz design cues. Legendary German build quality makes this model one of the most usable modern classics money can buy. A good example with an original factory hardtop will give year round driving.
This splendid Mercedes-Benz 500 SL is finished in red with a contrasting tan interior, a recently replaced black soft top and is supplied with a matching factory hardtop and stand. The vendor advises us that this impressive Mercedes was dry stored for nine years prior to being recommissioned, retrimmed and resprayed. We are also advised by the vendor that this, V8 engined, Mercedes-Benz drives as well as she looks. This autobahn cruiser is offered to auction with a history file containing the last 20 years of bills and receipts, a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until March 2020.
