Lot 132 - 2004 BMW 318i Sport Convertible
|Sold - £4,200
The BMW E46 was the fourth generation of the BMW 3 Series, the focus for the new incoming model design was an emphasis on improving aerodynamics and increasing the car's aggressive stance. In March 2003, the facelift (LCI) versions of the coupé and convertible models were released for the 2004 model year. Equally as popular at the golf club as on the motorway, the E46 gained ground on comfort and practicality coupled to a chassis which BMW claimed to be 70% more rigid than its E36 predecessor, it also became a very successful derivative of the BMW 3 series in the premium market war against Audi and Mercedes-Benz.
This example is presented in metallic blue with cream leather trim and in lovely condition, it also boasts just two owners from new. Specified with an electric roof, electric memory seats with electric headrests, two BMW keys, remote locking and reverse sensors. Having covered a mere 78,000 miles and with eight service stamps in the original BMW booklet, which can be found with the originally supplied book pack, this has clearly been a cherished example. The wheels have been newly refurbished. Offered with 12 months MoT test certificate and in such lovely order, this is a perfect convertible for enjoying the great British summer.
