The Mini was manufactured by the British Motor Corporation (BMC) and its successors from 1959 until 2000. The original is considered a British icon of the 1960’s and its space-saving front-wheel drive layout allowing 80% of the car's floorpan to be used for passengers and luggage, influenced a generation of car makers. The Mini Cooper Sport had a front-mounted radiator, driver's airbag, taller final drive ratio and was only produced from March to October 2000. It could be distinguished from earlier 'Sport Pack' equipped Coopers by its Platinum roof and bonnet stripes. The model's widened wheel arches housed 13 x 6 alloy wheels while inside it featured an alloy dashboard as well as alloy window winders, door pulls and door handles.

Supplied by Dutton-Forshaw in Aylesbury and originally registered on 8th September 2000, this Mini has only had two owners from new. A comprehensive service history accompanies this Cooper Sport, the most recent work was carried out on 19th April 2019 when she had new brake shoes and wheel cylinders fitted prior to a fresh MoT test certificate being issued. She was used regularly until 2013 and has been professionally stored in the interim period. The distinctive blue with a silver roof is in good order as is the black and grey interior. Supplied with a V5C registration document together with the original service book and literature pack, this 1275cc Rover Mini Cooper Sport is a good example of an ever increasingly popular model, particularly when they are as good as this.
