Lot 127 - 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Convertible
|Sold - £27,440
Introduced at the 2005 Geneva Salon, the V8 Vantage featured Aston Martin's advanced VH platform (bonded aluminium) architecture and a 4.3-litre 'quad-cam' dry-sump V8 developing some 380bhp and 302lbft. Available with a choice of manual or sportshift transmission, the newcomer was reputedly capable of 0-60mph in 4.7 seconds and 175mph. One of the new and hugely competent range of motorcars Aston Martin now offer.
This pristine example of this ‘pocket rocket’ Aston Martin V8 is presented in silver with blue leather interior and matching electric hood. Its lively and throaty 4.3 litre V8 engine is mated to a manual gearbox. It comes with air conditioning, cruise control, heated front seats, satellite navigation and a new MoT test certificate which expires in January 2020. This lovely car has just been serviced and has had fitted new front discs/pads and rear pads. This car has also had a new clutch and battery fitted. The owner informs us that all electrical and mechanical systems are in working order with no known faults, including the electric hood. With its hood down and the howl of the V8 ringing in your ears, this iconic British sports car is exhilarating to drive and is being sold with a sensible reserve.
