Vélosolex moped usually referred to as 'Solex', was originally produced by the French manufacturer Solex, based in Courbevoie near Paris, France. Referred to in the company's advertisement as the 'bicycle which drives itself', it became extremely popular with school children, students or plant workers because it was light and extremely economical.

Little is known about this Solex but we are informed it is complete, in need of light recommissioning and has a rear luggage rack. We are also informed this Solex is running with the engine in super condition and will be presented without a V5C registration document. Offered at no reserve, viewing is advised as these popular bikes are very sought after with celebrities such as Chef Rick Stein who allegedly has one on his boat.

Guide price £2,000 - £3,000
