The Focus is a compact car designed under Alex Trotman's Ford 2000 plan, which aimed to globalize model development and sell one compact vehicle worldwide, the Focus was primarily designed by Ford of Europe’s German and British teams. The second generation Focus RS is the Focus that Ford originally claimed it was unlikely to manufacturer, however they did and the latest ‘Hot hatch’ was born. One of the most controversial aspects of the car was its drivetrain, which remained front, not four-wheel drive. After awarding the car five stars, this is what the team at Auto Express had to say about the new Ford Focus RS when launched: “The engineers have done an amazing job. It’s got storming performance, amazing handling and grip, but also real character thanks to that charismatic five-cylinder engine.”

Originally registered on 1st September 2010 this immaculate Focus RS is finished in the striking colour of Ultimate Green and has only covered 28,000 miles from new. A good service history accompanies this Ford and she also benefits from having the Dynamica RS seat upgrade, a must for any Focus and a £7,000 option if fitted retrospectively, and Lux Pack One. A full service history accompanies this Focus RS and we are advised by the vendor she will have a service and an MoT test prior to auction. Supplied with a V5C registration document, this Ford Focus RS has had one previous keeper and is in what we can only describe as ‘age defying condition’. Interested parties are advised to inspect the car in person to ascertain the quality of this stunning vehicle. These cars are fast being recognised as a future classic.
