The Lancia Fulvia Coupé appeared in 1965, based on a shortened chassis from the saloon that was introduced two years earlier, beautifully built and exquisite to drive it was a cut above the Fiats and Fords of the day. It soon became involved in rallying and in HF form, and won the world championship several times, beginning Lancia’s domination of the sport for two decades.
This car has had four owners in total and was originally registered in Catania in 1974. It was then sold to a Mr Annotasi from Ragusa in 1987 and then to his friend Giuseppe Previto also in Ragusa in 2010. It has been well looked after and there is good evidence of maintenance with several parts recently replaced. It has had a complete service within the last year, engine oil, gearbox oil and brake fluid change, new rear shock absorbers and upper ball joints replaced and comes complete with an MoT test certificate valid until April next year. The paint and bodywork are excellent and virtually unmarked. The interior is in good order with the seats undergoing some renovation. These stylish and popular Italian sports cars are great fun to drive and is now owned now by the director of the Men & Motors channel; it has been used regularly and represents fun and practical motoring.
