The Mini was manufactured by the British Motor Corporation (BMC) and its successors from 1959 until 2000. The original Mini is considered a British icon of the 1960’s and its space-saving front-wheel drive layout allowing 80% of the car's floorpan to be used for passengers and luggage, influenced a generation of car makers. In 1999, the Mini was voted the second most influential car of the 20th century behind the Ford Model T.
First registered on 1st March 2001, this Mini Cooper is described by the vendor as being ‘a delight’ and ‘fun to drive’. This two owner car with an odometer reading of 17,920 miles is finished in black with black velour trim. The car is supplied with a V5C registration document and an MoT test certificate valid until May 2019. Original Mini’s have seen a recent resurgence in demand resulting in an inevitable increase in price. This Mini looks to be excellent value given the estimate.
