|Odometer reading||84,900 miles|
|Estimate||£18,000 - £23,000|
|Result||Sold - £20,945|
The 997 is the replacement model for the 996. It has kept the 996's basic profile, with an even lower 0.28 drag coefficient, but draws on the 993 for detailing. In addition, the new headlights revert to the original bug-eye design, drifting from the teardrop scheme of the 996. Its interior is also similarly revised, with strong links to the earlier 911 interiors while at the same time looking fresh and modern.
In late 2005, Porsche announced the all-wheel-drive versions to the 997 line-up. Carrera 4 models (both Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S) were announced as 2006 models. Both Carrera 4 models are wider than their rear-wheel-drive counterparts by 1.76 inches (32 mm) to cover wider rear tyres.
Originally registered on 20th May 2006, this Porsche Carrera 4S is in unmarked condition and ready to be enjoyed immediately. This beauty has an impressive Porsche main dealer and specialist service record; she is in great order mechanically. This Porsche Carrera 4S is described as being a delight to drive. Supplied with a V5C registration document and an MoT test certificate valid until 14th February 2019 together with a substantial history folder, this 911/997 is a splendid example and is offered with its cherished number plate.
