Introduced in 1993 to the public, the handsome new DB7 was Aston Martin's first six cylinder model since production of the DBS had finished in 1971.
Styled by Ian Callum, its lines were evocative of earlier Aston Martin models and elements of the DB4/5/6 could be seen. Arguably one of the most attractive looking cars ever produced by Aston Martin, the DB7 was well received and attracted new customers worldwide with its traditional layout of the curvaceous two door coupé body and robust six cylinder engine. Power was supplied by an all alloy double overhead camshaft supercharged 24 valve, inline six cylinder engine which produced 335bhp at 5750rpm. Regarded by many as the purist modern Aston Martin, the DB7 will undoubtedly be a collectable car for years to come and is equally at home in the city or out on the open road.
First registered in September 1999 and one of the last DB7's produced this stunning automatic i6 example is finished in Bowland Black coachwork with a grey leather and charcoal interior, carbon fibre inserts and embossed head restraints. This special edition Stratstone of Mayfair edition also featured silver wheels and individually numbered sill plaques. The car has covered a mere 6,259 miles, it presents in stunning condition throughout and the interior is as new. The history is also as impressive and demonstrates how well the car has been cared for, it contains 12 service stamps by specialists and main dealers, coupled with MoT test certificates from 2006 until now that help warrant the impressive mileage. The most recent service was in June 2017 at 6,075 miles, this coupled to an MoT test certificate valid until April 2019 add to the confidence in this car, it will certainly capture the imagination of any Aston Martin collector or enthusiast. A genuine right hand drive DB7, this car can safely be described as one of the best available.
