The Porsche 993 was introduced in 1993 as a replacement for the 964 generation of the iconic 911 models and was built until 1998. Regarded by many as the best generation of 911's ever produced from Stuttgart, this car was the last to use the air cooled flat six engine that had powered 911's for the previous thirty years. The 993 was offered in a number of guises and specifications during its production life including two and four-wheel drive trains, known as Carrera and Carrera 4 respectively.
This fabulous and desirable manual 993 Carrera 4 is presented in metallic Iris Blue and Marble Grey leather interior and has been in long term family ownership between father and son. The car presents extremely well and we are told drives beautifully. It has recently had a new windscreen fitted due to a crack in the driver’s view point and all four wheels refurbished. The history file shows a very good maintenance record predominantly with Porsche main agents and a few with specialists. The most recent service was performed by Brooklands Porsche in 2018. The car comes supplied with the original service books and a history file of accompanying invoices and MoTs. With 993 Porsche 911's prices climbing steadily, this is a very attractively priced and desirable example with viewing highly recommended.
