The 356 is a lightweight and nimble, rear engine, two door, rear wheel drive car. Engineering innovations continued during the years of manufacture contributing to its motorsports success and popularity. In late 1959 significant styling and technical refinements gave rise to the 356 B. The 356 was created by Ferdinand 'Ferry' Porsche (son of Ferdinand Porsche, founder of the German company), who founded the Austrian company with his sister, Louise. The chassis was a completely new design as was the 356's body which was designed by Porsche employee Erwin Komenda, while certain mechanical components, including the engine case and some suspension components, were based on and initially sourced from Volkswagen.

This beautiful iconic Porsche 356 of the 1960’s comes with a large history file containing details of work done on the car. The vendor informs us that some £45,000 has been spent on her. This stunning car is presented with factory papers, workshop manual, handbook and factory certificate. This left hand drive Porsche 356B Coupé is a superb example and is supplied with a V5C registration document. This 356 would complement any collection and is ready to be used and enjoyed.
