Lot 270 - 1993 Mercedes-Benz 320 CE Cabriolet
|Sold - £4,704
Manufactured between 1992 and 1994, the 320 CE coupés and cabriolets were the most luxuriously equipped models within the range. Similar to their smaller engined siblings, the 320 CE was powered by the 3,199cc, 24-valve, twin overhead camshaft, variable inlet valve timing engine that produced 220bhp with a top speed in excess of 145mph. Standard equipment included the driver's side airbag and anti-lock brakes.
Presented here today is an early 320 CE cabriolet and with only 557 cabriolets produced; only 87 of which were righthand drive versions. With Schwarz metallic black paintwork over a blue perforated leather interior, a very high specification example boasting 17" factory AMG alloy wheels, air conditioning, power hood, memory driver and passenger seats, headlamp wash wipers and illuminated vanity mirrors. This very well looked after example is offered with a comprehensive history file and is described by the vendor as rust-free and having been kept dry in a garage for many years. A lovely example of a very usable modern classic with many extras.
