The Toyota Supra is a grand tourer that was manufactured from 1978 to 2002 and was derived from the Toyota Celica although it was both longer and wider. First, second, and third generation Supras were assembled at Tahara plant in Tahara, Aichi while the fourth generation Supra was assembled at the Motomachi plant in Toyota City. The Supra also traces much of its roots back to the Toyota 2000GT with the main instance being its engine. The first three generations were offered with a direct descendant to the Toyota Crown's and 2000GT's 'M' engine. All four generations of Supra produced have an inline six-cylinder engine. In 1998, Toyota ceased sales of the Supra in the United States and in 2002 Toyota officially stopped production of the Supra in Japan. The Supra has appeared in numerous video games, movies, music videos and TV shows. Some of the most notable appearances include the Gran Turismo, Need for Speed and The Fast and the Furious film series.

This is a genuine UK supplied Supra automatic with many TRD upgrades and one that has had significant investment in recent years resulting in a concours example. A superb history folder accompanies this Supra with lots of recent work carried out by Supra specialist Chris Wilson. This includes a full engine rebuild in 2007 at 115,780 miles, with detailed photographs and various upgrades/improvements. The three-litre, twin hybrid turbo unit runs supremely well. In addition to this, the suspension now has Chris Wilson Bilstein shock absorbers with custom springs. The brakes have been overhauled and interior trim replaced, together with a later model dashboard. The list of work carried out on this is comprehensive, the conclusion is of a car that defies its 21 years of age. Visually a car that looks virtually new with performance to match; supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 19th April 2017, a magnificent example at a modest cost given the estimate.

Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Buyers are advised to inspect the car in person or use a professional to carry out this service.
