Lot 212 - 1994 Yamaha XTZ750 Super Ténéré
|Result||Sold - £1,792|
The Yamaha XTZ750 Super is a dual-sport motorcycle and named after Yamaha's lighter, single-cylinder models which in turn were named after the notorious Ténéré desert stage of the former Paris-Dakar Rally. It is a larger, twin-cylinder version of the single-cylinder Yamaha XTZ 660 Ténéré. First sold in 1989, the Super Ténéré used the new Yamaha engine design containing five valve heads with a solid protective guard around the engine prevents damage. The front brake disks are provided with plastic covers and its solid feel and imposing riding position has proved popular with owners.
Forming part of a museum collection in recent years, this sound example comes complete with top-box rack, hand guards and wind-deflector as well as a 12 month MoT test certificate and a new battery.
