The Porsche 944 was built from 1982 to 1991 and was built on the same platform as the 924. It was intended to last into the 1990's but major revisions planned for a 944 S3 model were eventually rolled into the 968 instead which replaced the 944. The 944 was a successful model and was available as both a coupé and cabriolet in naturally aspirated and turbocharged forms. In mid-1985, the Porsche 944 underwent significant changes. The post-1985 cars, turbos, and S variants are considered more desirable than the earlier cars, having improved interiors, suspensions and engines.

This 944 Turbo offered in the popular Guards Red with full black leather interior is offered in immaculate order with private plate TSV 944 included. It is accompanied by a fantastic history file including a comprehensively stamped service book with predominantly Rivervale Porsche and further specialist entries present. In early 2000, the previous owner decided to have the turbo remapped professionally; however, we are informed that the original EPROM is offered with the car should the new owner wish to return it its factory settings; the only other addition is a 968 Clubsport steering wheel. Between 2005 and 2013, the car was off the road due to the owner's ill health; a change of ownership in 2013 led to this Porsche being serviced and re-commissioned at 78,853 miles where it had a full Hartech service and documented inspection including important belt changes at a cost of over £1,700. Since 2013, it has been stored in a heated garage and covered very few miles as the vendor began to consider this, quite rightly, fast appreciating modern classic. Having recently been treated to a full paint correction and detail we are informed it drives every bit as good as it looks. Offered with a full 12 month MoT test certificate, this is a fantastic example of a very collectable Porsche.
