Lot 328 - 2007 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic
|Odometer reading||12,000 miles|

The term softail refers to motorcycles that feature a hidden rear suspension system with springs or shock absorbers to absorb bumps. Softail motorcycles give the appearance of having a hard-tail or rigid frame, normally with the shock absorbers or springs under the motorcycle and out of view. The word 'softail' is a registered trademark of Harley-Davidson motorcycles and coined with the release of the FXST Softail in 1984. Since then, the word has expanded to include other motorcycles with hidden rear suspensions as well as bicycles incorporating a rear suspension.
This stunning Harley Davidson was originally registered on 18th July 2007 and remains in excellent condition. This softail is equipped with side-bags to enable the bike to be used for touring. As always with a Harley the chrome work is a major detail and this one certainly does not disappoint. The engine, gearbox covers and exhaust are in unmarked condition, as is the cherry black paintwork. This Softail is fitted with Harley custom grips, brake pedal and heel and toe shifters and is supplied with a V5 registration document and a current MoT test certificate, is there a better way to look forward to the summer ahead when you own a Harley.
