Lot 309 - 1986 Suzuki GSX-R750
|Odometer reading||30,165 miles|
|Estimate||£4,000 - £5,000|
The Suzuki GSX-R750 was built to compete in various worldwide championships as well as to be used on the street. It is considered as one the very first street-legal racers; there had been a number of sports machines but the GSX-R750 was basically a street-legal, detuned version of the works racer. This is a Japanese market, full power bike and as very few were ever brought over to Europe, this GSX-R750 is a rare machine. Manufactured in 1986 and first registered in the UK in 1991, this is in great condition and has been completely overhauled by the Adis Workshop of Yorkshire. The work carried out included new spark plugs, new swing arm bushes, an oil change, new brake pads, rebuilt calipers and discs, braided hoses and an exhaust system. The steering head bearings have also been replaced. This GSX-R is in splendid condition and is guaranteed to put a smile on your face when ridden.
