We are proud to offer a Triumph powered Rickman Métisse that has a huge and impressive specification. The machine has been in the current ownership for the past 18 years. In that time it has been built to exacting standards. The specification is listed within the history file and is too large to list all of it here; however, a small example is as follows:

The full race engine includes; a lightened, balanced, cross drilled and Truftrided crankshaft - Cylinder block re-sleeved and over bored to 850 cc - Carrillo steel con rods - Forged pistons - enlarged oilways - cylinder head Centre plugged - ported - Colsibro valve guides - hardened valves - W&S valve springs - titanium valve caps - stainless steel exhaust stubs - alloy inlet matched to the 32mm carburettors etc. The gearbox is a lightened and balanced five speed unit with offset sprocket and a Bob Newby clutch. The Rickman Métisse frame is engineered with - P&M box section swinging arm - taper roller bearings in head stock - hand made fairing mountings - Koni rear shock absorbers - lightened Paioli yokes with lightened air balanced forks. Wheels and brakes - front wheel, Triumph T40 hub with big bearings lightened and anodised - twin Triumph discs two twin pot Lockheed calipers lightened and anodised - lightened steel wheel spindle - rear wheel, - modified Honda Dominator rotor, hub disc and brake calliper - stainless steel Goodridge brake lines - anodised sprockets with titanium fixings - titanium swinging arm and rear wheel spindles. The machine frame is fitted with a P&M Kawasaki racing alloy fuel tank with Q/D connectors, a carbon fibre Ducati 750 S/S fairing and carbon fibre Rickman seat. The three into one exhaust downpipes are heat wrapped with copper/asbestos gaskets.

Such is the specification that we must make any prospective purchaser aware that the oil used within the engine and gearbox must be Redline SAE 10W40 all synthetic formula and the rev limit is 9500 rpm.
